Day 1: Bangladesh came back strongly in the day 1 of first choosing to field first after winning the toss. The opening partnership of Sehwag and Gambhir made it 79/0 but then 8 wickets fell one after the other.After the end of day, India are 213/8 with Tendulkar on 76 and Ishant Sharma on 1. Shahadat Hossain and captain Shakib Al Hasan took 4 wickets each.

IPL auction 2010: Final list of 66 overseas players for auction

After the registration of 97 players for IPL 2010, the final list has been shortened to 66 players based on the interest of IPL franchises. Earlier, only 51 players were listed with no players from England due to Board's policy. After it was confirmed that they will be available for whole season, English players are also included in the list. The list comprises 11 players from Pakistan, Australia and South Africa; nine from Sri Lanka; eight from England and West Indies; four from New Zealand and one each from Bangladesh, Zimbabwe, Canada and Holland.

Here is the final list of 66 overseas players for IPL 3 :

India vs Bangladesh 1st test 2010 - Live

After the ODI tri-series, its time for the two test matches between India and Bangladesh starting on 17th Jan, 2010. Though Bangladesh has not got any win against India in tests, its a time for their test as they historically won the test series against West Indies. MS-Dhoni will be missing the test due to injury. Though Bangladesh is not the biggest threat to the no.1 test team, they can be dangerous at home.

After the rest in ODI series, Tendulkar will make a comeback in 1st test. Dravid and Laxman will also be playing the match along with Dinesh Karthik who replaces injured Dhoni. Bowling too may have some changes with Amit Mishra coming back in team.
