IPL 2011- the fourth season of Indian premier league is underway. it features non-stop cricket for 51 days including 74 matches between the 10 teams. The series will first be played in group-stage and finally there will be the semi-final and final.

Here is the latest points table of IPL 2011:





A team gets 2 points for winning a match and 1 point to each team will be awarded in case of no results. In case of tie in points, the position is adjusted by seeing the net run rate. You can find more on net run rate in our page.

Both the teams lost their first matches of IPL 2011 and are looking for their first win. Deccan Chargers had everything gone wrong in the first match. Their batting didn't work at all. On the other hand, Kolkata choked at the end. Kolkata seems to be more organized this season than the previous three.

For Kolkata, Jacques Kallis is the player to watch out along with captain Gambhir. Their batting lineup looks superb but bowling seems to be weaker. On the other hand, Deccan has a world class bowling attack lead by Dale Steyn. Batting seems to be their weaker part.
