Highlights of India vs West Indies 1st ODI 2011 [video] Posted: 06 Jun 2011 08:00 AM PDT In the 1st ODI between India and West Indies at Trinidad, the Caribbean team won the toss and chose to bowl first. West Indies dropped Pollard but other senior players like Sarwan and Dwayne Bravo were called back in the team. India eventually won the 1st ODI by 4 wickets with 31 balls remaining. Rohit Sharma scored 68 of 75 and clinched the man of the match. West Indies - 214/9 in 50 overs India 217/6 in 44.5 overs West Indies couldn't get a good start due to some good bowling from Indian bowlers. Praveen Kumar removed Simmons in the 7th over while Bravo was removed by Munaf Patel in the 8th over. The partnership of Edwards and Sarwan provided some resistance but Harbajan took the wicket of Edwards making it 59/3 in 19th over.
