First, they bowled Australia for 98 runs - the lowest for Aussies at MCG. Then like other matches, Strauss-Cook partnership completely dominated the Australian bowling attack. At the end of day England lead by 59 runs with 10 wickets remaining. England are 157/0. James Anderson and Tremlett were superb with the ball taking 4 wickets each. Bresnan took 2 wickets too. In reply, captain Strauss is not out on 64 and Cook is playing 80 not out.
