Royal Challengers Bangalore are playing the tournament for the third time and haven't had to much of sucess. This time the team is new and le by their new captain Daniel Vittori. RCB were the runner-ups of the IPL 2011 season. The team is placed in the group B where two teams from qualifier-stage, Warriors and South Australia Redbacks will play against the Royal Challengers Bangalore. RCB have some of the matches in their home ground which will surely help them.

Mumbai Indians are playing Champions League T20 for the second time. They didn't have good record on the first appearance in 2010. They lost 2 and won 2, were out of the tournament from the group-stage. This time also still tougher as their Group A consists of Chennai, Cape Cobras, New South Australia and one team from qualifiers. Mumbai were placed 3rd in Indian Premiere League 2011 despite very good performance on the early part of tournament. The eam want to bag their first ever tournament win from Nokia CLT20 2011.

Chennai uper Kings are the defending Champions of Champions League T20. They are also the winner of Indian Premiere League 2011. The team is lead by ndian captian MS Dhoni with lots of experienced overseas players as well as young Indian players. Both the teams from POOL B defeated the New Zealand's Auckland in their first match. Somerset and Kolkata Knight Riders will play in the 3rd and final day of qualifying stage at Nokia Champions League T20 2011 in Hyderabad. KKR and Somerset both have chances to qualify but the for that this match should be again a tighter one and also Rohunu and Leicester match should be the same in POOL A.
