Sri Lanka Vs South Africa 4th ODI Post Match Presentation 2012 Posted: 20 Jan 2012 12:51 PM PST Perera: This was my first match in the series and I think I played well. This is the way I bat and I love facing spinners. I hope to do well in the next match. I will try my best for my team. Thissara Perera is the MoM for his all-round efforts Dilshan: Fantastic effort. We wanted to keep them down to 250-260, but it looked like they would get more, great effort to pull them back. Our bowling was superb in the end. Our performance in the last 3 matches have been good and there has been improvements all around. I am very happy with my innings, but I would have loved to finish the job. I am very happy with the way we played and we will look to do well at Johannesberg. ABDV: All credit to SL, they batted really well to chase down the big score. I take responsibility for the stalling of our innings, we should have got at least 325. A century was not to be today, but we will go to Jo’Berg with confidence. I am enjoying my game, but it is of no use as we lost the match. It is very important to learn and reflect from our losses, and we will do the same. I was not too happy with the fielding, a lot of chances were not taken, it was tough but no excuses. Perera played superbly, but our bowlers made mistakes and we will have a chat with Gary about it.
