When this happens and some kid gets redirected to an age inappropriate site, parents get upset, then Google gets upset. If your site has links to other sites that plague the user with pop ups and nothing but a page of spam, expect to get de-indexed. Also, shame on you, this is just putting more noise out in the world, you're better than that. Create a site you can be proud of and reap the rewards of honest, high quality work. Interlinking This practice uses inbound links to boost the site's search engine position by building a bunch of sites that all link to each other. This is kinda like a mirror within a mirror trick. Interlinking is one of the tougher Google website violations to catch, but to be sure they will catch it. When Google does catch a site using interlinking, all of the sites are in danger of getting de-indexed. If you want to be respected and treated as a legit SEO provider, use best practices. Google provides a web masters tool kit that is there to help you provide great content for yourself and your clients. If you've been de-indexed, take a look at the reasons listed above. If you think that you've been de-indexed in error, contact Google. In most cases however, you are better off just starting from scratch. Starting over is an added expense for you and or your client, makes you look bad and your client might just take their business else where.
